I think Golovkin will age similarly to JMM. He doesn't rely on athleticism or energy levels, it's all fundamentals, timing, experience. He lives clean, trains smart and hasn't taken any serious damage in his career. Abel recently said Golovkin only sparred 9 times for this fight. If the motivation is there, we could very well see Golovkin into his early 40's.

As I said before, there's no need for Golovkin to chase Canelo - eventually it'll be Canelo that will come to him. If Golovkin is able to grab the WBO belt from Saunders before Canelo can, he'll have cut off Canelo's bypass. Don't be surprised if K2 offers BJS 100% of the UK revenue for a December fight.

Canelo has NEVER fought at 160. It's not his fault Old azz GGG has been too ***** to move up to 168 for better fights and wasted so many years of his prime fighting bums. Now he's begging for smaller fighters who have never fought at 160 move up and fight him instead of him doing that himself. Had the choice to move down to canelos weight for the fight but refused. So he can sit and wait till canelo is ready to move up. Just like the coward GGG has been telling fighters at 168 for years. If GGG gets too old in the meantime that's his and his own promoters fault for wasting his career away with mismatch fights at 160.
