We all know that Kovalev doesn't sell tickets.
Ward will sell them all, instead.

Sergey's first and only Vegas fight

No one said that the fight didn't have to happen because "Ward wasn't a draw"... wtf. Even if it was true that he isn't a draw, the fight should still happen.

If a fighter is a draw or not is used to split the purses.

Ward vs Kovalev is obviously gonna sell. How many tickets did ward sell vs brand or vs barrera or vs smith?

it isn't too hard isn't it?
Golovkin is fighting Monroe, Wade, etc while Ward moved up to fight a top 5 p4p guy

Slow down. Someone asked how many tickets were sold. You're providing the number of folks in attendance. Remember that they gave away crap loads of free tickets just prior to those fights. So no, Ward didn't 'sell' all those tickets.

Good for them but I'm expecting you back when GGG-Canelo sells out Texas stadium and makes like $5 million gate... Or do you have some sort of agenda?

First of all GGG-Canelo won't be held in Texas stadium. Big fights are in Vegas, not Texas smh. And GGG-Canelo in Vegas would do close to a $15 mil gate. You don't even know the economics of boxing so don't speak to me unless you know what you're talking about.

I went to both those fights and it wasnt sold out. Mostly filled but it was plenty of empty seats. Especially nosebleed section

Golovkin’s promoter Tom Loeffler told BoxingScene a few weeks back that they’d still like to fight Chavez or even Carl Froch but felt that Ward didn’t make financial sense at the moment.

JOE CALZAGHE vs. BERNARD HOPKINS Attendance: 14,345
                      Gate: $11,636,400.00

Ward vs. GGG would've did better than that. $15 mil at a 50/50 split would've been the biggest paycheck and biggest PPV for GGG. This was the biggest fight that was possible to make. He's not gonna make that unless Canelo fights him and even he and Sanchez don't think that fight is happening
