Wow. This a turn of events. I thought all was good on the Mayweather Promotions side of things. People constantly give Mayweather all types of praise yet as a PROMOTER he's still unproven.

Tank was supposed to be the face of Mayweather Promotions now it seems as if theirs a lot of questions.

I'm sure this gets worked out but this is another example of fighter and promoter on different views on things should be.

Floyd should let off being a control freak here. He has good intentions with Tank because he said he has too many bad influences in Baltimore. Vegas will make him more focused on boxing.

If Tank doesn't want to help himself, then don't force him to.

SMH. Young dude needs to suck it up, shut his mouth, and - at least for now -and do what Floyd tells him IMO. Floyd's not asking him to do anything unreasonable. Can't let a great opportunity like the one he has with Floyd pass him by just because he's homesick. Should build up some experience and cachet before trying to stand up to Floyd on what he should do with his career IMO.

Gervonta is a grown man and at the end of the day can do what he wants but I think it's a big mistake not listening to Floyd at this point in his career...

When you're about to get a title shot seems like a bad time to play hardball. How does living in a different state mean you can't help your family financially? Wouldn't you help them more fighting for money vs Sosa than staying home earning nothing?

That was Broner's mistake too. Davis is good but he isn't even close to being unbeatable and Floyd knows it too. At this point in his career people are going to be looking to make a name off of the hype he has being linked to Mayweather. There is a reason Sosa wants him as a voluntary. If he is going against Sosa he needs to be 100% focused. Sosa went 12 with Walters getting hit with huge shots and outlasted Fortuna eventually capitalizing.
