Comments Thread For: Margarito Ready To Face Canelo on 12/10: I Want To Beat Him!
Centro De Convenciones, Rosarito, Baja California - Former world champion Antonio Margarito (40-8, 27 KOs) is targeting his Mexican rival, Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez (47-1-1, 33KOs).
It's almost kinda sad that he believes he has a chance. Why is it that 93% of fighters have to drag out their careers to sad states. Kostya Tyszu did it right, he lost and called it a career. I watched his fight today, and I usually watch any past him prime fighter going against some "young buck", and to be completely honest; I'm usually cheering for the old
f u c k in the fight (I.E: Morales vs Garcia or Mosley vs Avenesyan). This is just sad though. I'm a Canelo fan, but at the rate he's going I wouldn't put it past him (or golden boy) to agree to this fight. To make it a fair fight, let's make it a handicap match. margarito AND mayorga VS Canelo, with that crooked nwo ref (Nick Patrick) as a special guest referee. God I hope people got the wrestling reference...
I still wonder how this shot one eyed guy is allowed to fight. We all know Margarito is broke, but god have some mercy and not let him continue fighting, if he faces somebody real next he could get blinded and permanently damaged even worse.
