Comments Thread For: Mikey Garcia: If No Layoff, I Definitely Would Be a Big Star

New York - It's been two and a half years but the wait is over. Former two division world champion Mikey Garcia (34-0, 28KOs) returns from a ring absence that allowed him to become a free agent from his former promoter Top Rank, Inc.

    Maybe.

He'd still have to have gotten the fights (& won them). And once you got beef with Arum he kinda gots it out for you & doesn't tend to give you the same opportunities. Therefore its highly questionable once there was a problem he doesn't get anywhere til his TR contract was up still.

Garcia seemed more than happy to get out of the Salido fight (went to scorecards) as the tide was turning. Garcia has all the talent, but he lacks charisma and now he's going to be difficult to match. There is v little upside to beating him at this point.
Who is going to promote him? 50 cent? //krikya360.com/forums/im...mashfreakB.gif

          Crawford
          Gamboa
          Linares
          Molina jr
          Provodnikov

It's fights everywhere for him. Big fights, fan friendly fights, mild risk fights. Mikey has options.

then by 2018. Go to 147 where there are even more fights

You can't call it a lay off puto if you purposely refuse to fight for your promoter and stay away from the sport for over 2 years.

now stfu, look good in the ring and let your fists do the talking for you.

You can't be a big star if when asked to fight guys like Gamboa, you suddenly want to leave your promoter. This guy is dreaming.

Just handle biz tonight! Go get that belt from Flanagan! And then get paid with a big fight with Crawford or Barthelemy in 2017! Then you'll be back where you're supposed to be!

I used to be a big fan of Garcia's, now he's just another haymon puppet who wants to take mismatches. Oh well I'll justbe rooting for his opponents from here on out

How can u say that when it's been confirmed he requested a title fight for his first fight back and also requested Gamboa. Gamboas team turned that fight down. Not anyone's fault u don't know who Rojas is
