Those are the highest numbers ggg has ever done hahahahaha
Ggg would be called a god for those numbers on hbo.... But just because its on fox people think non boxing fans will somehow watch.... Respectable numbers for a mismatch....
What did they expect? It was a 100-1 underdog in there.
I know the popularity of boxing suffered a whole lot, but Klitschko had very good ratings in germany even when he fought against bums like pianeta and Leapai.
I would have reckon that an american heavyweight champ, regardless if he is the real champ or not, wouldd pull in good numbers

it wasn't on HBO, moron - it was on FOX which is basically in every house in the US

Wilder busted himself up for those numbers? He played it safe and picked on a guy easy to hit. Now the purse might not cover the Dr. bill, and the Dr. might not be able to fix the damage. He should have picked a better name, Arreola drew flies.
Exactly. For an American heavyweight kinda champion on free TV not very good.
Not every good? It's a disaster. It's a joke. 1.4 mil on Fox, in primetime? Getting literally lapped by reruns of shows no one has ever heard of like 48 hours? As in doubled? It's a failure. PBC and their mismatches continue to disappoint and there's no spinning it anymore, especially not this one. "Last among major networks." Sums it up.
