Alan Sanchez had his way with Pablo Cesar Cano, but was forced to settle for a split decision win in their 10-round welterweight bout Friday evening at Toshiba Plaza in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Judge Dave Moretti somehow had Cano winning 96-94, further proving he's best served for the minor leagues in the twilight of his officiating career. Tim Cheatham and Kermit Bayless paid proper attention to the bout, scoring 97-93 in favor of Sanchez (18-3-1, 9KOs), who has now scored six straight victories.

1st 3 we r good bouts, & as usual terrible scoring from vegas judges, worst in country...More ti needs,2 hook up w/Duane Ford 4,a comedy show, his best judging is far behind him ...WORSE was the ne Cynthia J. Ross, Lisa Giampa, worst female judge next 2 Ross ever on tv...it's beyond me how she gave Ruiz 8 rounds...no logic.. where is the concentration she obviously lacks...obvious her old man got her in 2 NSAC. .Terrible officiating...
