why does lara have to go to GGG for the fight to happen, why cant both sides just find interest in the fight. because last i checked when one side has to go to the other side while the other side shows no interest, we categorize that as "ducking"

If a slow, straight ahead guy like Angullo had Lara down twice, I can't see Golovkin having too much trouble with him.

This is a f#ckd up sport. Spence called out Brook multiple times before and after his fight with Algieri. Hearn, Brook's promoter, reached out to team Spence and look what happened. Nothing. Spence is not ready yet.

GGG will regret not fighting Ward at 168. I have never heard GGG or his team saying they want to fight Lara, they said that he is not a big enough name.
If it's okay for little G, as Ward called him, to want Ward to fight him at 164, then Canelo has the right to demand that they fight at 155. Heck!!! GGG said that he would fight Mayweather at 154, then why not Canelo at 155?

Why do people assume that if someone calls out a fighter on twitter it is legit? If it were legit an offer would have been made.
Abel Sanchez said that he himself turned down the Lara fight.

"I don't know why he took his foot off the gas. He could have had Delvin out of there but he didn't. He could have done more to Canelo but he didn't. So that doesn't make him appealing to not only HBO but also to me and our team - and that's the reason why I turned him down."

Because he wants to fight the top dog at 160. That's like saying before the Floyd fight "I don't see why Pacquiao isn't chasing Bradley. Both are with Top Rank". Only GGG fans pawn other boxers off on other boxers. They did the same thing with Ward. "Why doesn't Ward fight Kovalev"
This is a silly comment. I happen to think Lara would be out of his league, but if he wants the fight, great. Contact Golovkin's promoter and offer a fight. How difficult is that? Fights don't get made when someone makes a comment on twitter. It is convenient to post on twitter and then claim you are being ducked, when in reality you have never once actually attempted to make the fight. It's not exactly rocket science.

With regards to Ward, it would have been a great fight, no doubt about it. I am bummed that its likely not going to happen. With that said, Ward was already at LHW and already negotiating that deal with Kovalev when he sent an offer for GGG to fight in late 2016, after the Lemieux fight had just been made. K2's response was essentially we aren't signing for a fight one year out when we are supposed to be unifying MW division after the Lemieux fight. If you would like to fight in early 2017, lets talk then. How is that not reasonable?

As you can see from your own quote not even HBO is interested in Lara.

We have the Olympics this year where you can see alot of cuban runners though!

hey the ibf already ordered spence to earn his mando position so its ideal why they didnt do anything, on the flipside, lara vs ggg is a fight between two world champions, one who's arguably never lost in the ring and is a difficult fight for anybody vs someone that alot of ppl are willing to avoid. lara wants to step up so i say reach out and make the fight, hes one of the few pbc fighters not talking about money and weight and xyz when it comes to fights.
