Duran was one of my favorites without a doubt but I'm not so sure about
him "kicking Mayweather's ass". I think it would have been a close fight

80s fighters will have a hard time catching him lmao
Lol OMG you are the most jealous, pathetic loser I've ever seen on a forum. Which one of your heros did Floyd beat? Go watch the pacroid fight in super duper slow mo again. Manny "Floyd just wouldn't stand there and let me hit him, like the other drained, old, and shot fighters did, what is this trickery called boxing?"

I swear some of you don't even watch boxing. Floyd is one of the best ever but we're talking about a different level of savagery with Roberto Duran. This mother****er ain't no Marcos Maidiana.

        Roger Mayweather knows what's up.

          Duran is a G

Sadly pbf is a stylistic nightmare for him

He lost to every great/good fighter he faced with elite speed n defense.....dejesus, benitez, srl, kirkland friggin lainge, hearns etc

Casuals overrate TF out of Duran

Also why do people envision old pot shot Floyd

PBF from 02-07 vs prime Duran 75-81

IMO mayweather outpoints him IMO in close affair

          Not so close past 135

Also Floyd isn't dumb enough to fight his fight like srl

Poor Arum. Time to call it a day old timer

big fight hes promoting no one cares, top fighter stuck foot in mouth and lost support, and HBO kicked him to curb

            Maybe hes gone senile

              Floyd was like 37

Where was Duran in his late 30s

              Taking losses

Prime vs prime is better way to look at it

Most of you don't know **** about Roberto Duran. Especially those talking about irrelevant losses he had later in his career.

That would be an awesome fight between two genuinely amazing fighters. Floyd's ability to adjust, frustrate and stay disciplined would allow him to eek out a decision against hands of stone.

Please I watched boxing religiously in the 80s and Duran was great when he fought guys well against fighters who were offensive fighters. He was a sneaky good counter puncher. Leonard who fought Duran in fight 1 fought a ****** offensive fight and was beaten. Name one defensive fighter Duran beat? Duran embarrassed him Laing, snuffed his offense. I remember the Duran Slump after those loses. But guess what they rebuilt him, by feeding him faded offensive fighter Pipino Cuevas, and offense only volume punching Davey Moore he rode those wins to a loss to Hagler and a Blowout to Hearns. He faded into obscurity until beating Davey Moore clone Iran Barkley. Duran and that 67 inch reach couldn't beat Floyd who controls distance and would be too smart for Duran. Now Hearns is the one fighter Floyd would lose to 10 out of 10 times, 78 inch reach, power and Floyd could get in or hurt Tommy. It be similar to how Benitez lost
