    Interesting interview from CNN Money

Sheds some light on UFC business and revenue..

Interesting how it relates to boxing, as boxing has no brand, something which PBC is trying to create.

Its only about 3 mins long, but a good watch

PBC could learn from UFC and WWE in my opinion

PBC has a lot to learn but it's wrong to say that boxing doesn't have a brand. It's fighters are the brand, the countless youtube videos and highlights of Ali/Tyson/Leonard are the brand, the millions made every year by PPV, which *****s both UFC and the WWE are it's brand. Boxing as a whole is just a different type of brand than other sports or forms of entertainment.

PBC would be more comparable to the UFC in the sense that it's a single governing body.

Well, I do like eight weight classes and one champion per division. Boxing should definitely take a lesson. I also like a heavyweight limit. If you're 300 pounds, just forget about it.

I like how boxing is done now...on different networks with different promoters etc. It just needs a bit of regulation. Ufc seems so cookie cutter to me. Also why do you have that gif of that little sucker punching f@ggot?

Uncle Lorenzo doing his best not to alert the IRS.

I don't agree that boxing has no brand. That's a bizarre notion. It just doesn't have a corporate brand, which is entirely different.

However it is true that boxing would benefit from a UFC style company driving its brand. I don't think that can be questioned. There are implications of course, and a lot of what we love about boxing would be under threat if all promotion was under the au****es of a corporate marketing department. But it would make the sport far more competitive in the mainstream sports audience.
