Former WBC 115 lbs champion Suriyan Sor Rungvisai was handed the simplest of assignments in Samut Prakan on Friday afternoon. He was matched with an Indonesian opponent he’d already knocked out once and dominated Ricky Manufoe from start to finish in this six rounder.
Suriyan is now plying his trade as a bantamweight and looking to work his way back into contention for a second title shot at 118 lbs after being well beaten by Shinsuke Yamanaka last year. Since then he has won nine straight fights, although the standard of his opposition has been somewhat limited.
