Comments Thread For: Former WBC Champion Suriyan Sor Rungvisai Grabs Win

Former WBC 115 lbs champion Suriyan Sor Rungvisai was handed the simplest of assignments in Samut Prakan on Friday afternoon. He was matched with an Indonesian opponent he’d already knocked out once and dominated Ricky Manufoe from start to finish in this six rounder.

Suriyan is now plying his trade as a bantamweight and looking to work his way back into contention for a second title shot at 118 lbs after being well beaten by Shinsuke Yamanaka last year. Record since March 2012 is 26-1. The only loss was to WBC bantamweight title holder Shinsuke Yamanaka
