Lemieux? Can he make 155? Canelo is gonna have to bring up SMW's to fight him at 155. Or pay a MW a lot of money to drain to 155. That's the problem with his 155lb weight class

i'm guessing alvarez will have an easy one (clottey or rosado, for example) and golovkin will try to fit in two fights before september. tureano will be one of them, and i guess lee is the target for the other if he gets past BJS. if they manage to get lee, then i reckon that will be in march and the IBF defence will be quickly fulfilled in europe or asia in the summer

Ohhhhh I called it.

They will agree to take intermediate fights is my best guess. Canelo will want a fight with another MW - someone like Lee, Saunders, Heiland, Lemieux or Eubank. GGG will then adhere to a mandatory fight with either Johnson or Jacobs. After that, GGG-Canelo will be ready for the fall, assuming they both win.

Canelo will deebo one of those guys into fighting at like 157 in May, GGG will get at least one of Johnson or Jacobs in that time, and then GGG-Canelo in September barring nothing unusual.

Johnson is an OK contender and Lee/Saunders winner is a solid fight, but I'm definitely hoping for GGG-Jacobs if they ever manage to get past the network issues.

I don't know how GGG fans keep up with their reasons anymore. Feel like it changes weekly.

I'm a GGG fan. If they agree to fight on september 2016, I'm ok. Why? because GGG deserves a good payday, around 5 millions. If it's needed to wait a few more months I'm ok with that, as long as they fight at 160.

Once GGG gets the good payday he DESERVES (less skilled fighters have earned much more than what he's earned so far) I think he will eventually move up to 168 unless he still have good fights at 160.

So yeah, I'm ok with them fighting in september if it's ok for GGG. In the meantime he can fight Lee or Jacobs which are good fights too.

If that's true, then he's about to do more than Sturm, Geale and Cotto did when GGG was their mandos in less time.

Of course that's all hinging on if they actually do agree to fight for september. This is more "source" talk.
