    New York, NY - Middleweight Peter Quillin (32-0-1, 23 KO’s) enters his fight on Saturday night with WBA champion Danny Jacobs (30-1, 27 KO’s) as a very confident challenger. He knows the task in front of him and realizes Jacobs is no walk in the park.

    “This guy that I’m fighting has the equal motivation to win the fight and equal tools,” Quillin said about Jacobs.

    In terms of how long the fight goes at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, Quillin says that’s up to Jacobs.

    too bad you too a much of a coward to show up and win fights big for haymon (who put you on and the reason you even relevant), got beat by rosado was scared as shit to fight against lee.

      What he means is if you deal with Al you will get easy fights as he steers you away from tough threats. And pays you big money for mismatches. This fool been running from GGG for years and is talking about big fights will happen? You didn't fight GGG and we all know you won't ever. You took how long before haymon let you fight weak paper champ Jacobs. lol

        I think the fight got to be worth so much money like Floyd-Pacquiao
        Quillin is like Stevenson, full of shit. Neither of them want to get iced unless they're getting Mayweather money.

        I don't think Jacobs wins but I hope he does and ends this nonsense.

          Two Way Street

          Mr. Quillin, it's a two way street sir. It can't just be one sided and one guy dictate the entire terms of the promotion/fight.

          Right now the bigger names and bigger money are with HBO compared to the big names that are under the PBC Umbrella. Perfect example David Lemieux got paid just as much as you to fight GGG like you are fighting Jacobs. GGG made over 2 million for that fight probably a little more.

          So it's not just PBC fighters getting paid. There has been a multiple fights were Al Haymon has blocked fights or asked his guys to vacate their titles to avoid fighting other top dogs. If I'm correct I believe that's what you did to avoid fighting GGG.

          He hasn't exactly helped you guys in regards to reputation. A lot of the major talent has token a bit of a step back this year. Hopefully 2016 will be better for PBC.

            haymon owns quillin's soul. haymon is the guy who made quillin turn down 1.4 millino and fight for 500k and here he is saying how great he is. now that is power. also quillin vs jacobs isn't really a big fight. a solid fight but the big fights at 160 are against canelo and ggg and haymon isn't interested in those so how can quillin say this?

              I remember the hype Lemieux got from the same guys that call Quillin a coward and a chicken. They hyped Lemieux for stopping Fernando Guerrero, Gabe Rosado, and decisioning Hassan Ndam. But if you compare resumes, Quillin stopped Guerrero, Rosado, and decisioned Ndam first. Everyone forgets that. Then Quillin fought Lee and now he's fighting Jacobs. But everyone calls him a coward and a chicken. It seems like he's fought everyone except Golovkin who is contractually obligated to a rival network.

              Boxing fans are fickle.

                jacobs seems like a nice dude but a nice dude with no chin still gets ktfo. he hasn't beaten a top 10 fighter in his entire career. this probably won't end well then again quillin only throws 3 punches a round if he can avoid those....

                  Your no Mayweather. Not even close. Right now the major fights are being made by HBO compared to the PBC brass. That's why the majority of the PBC guys are afterthoughts right now compared to the HBO guys.

                  Kid Chocolate is delusional on his market value. Your not worth multiple millions yet. You don't have the following at all that GGG or Canelo have. You should be going to Al Haymon demanding that he get's something worked out after this fight. YOU ARE NOT THE A SIDE in ANY EQUATION in regards to getting a fight with GGG or Canelo.

                  Hopefully you come to that realization.
