MIAMI, FL - As Bryant "By-By" Jennings(19-1, 10 KOs) prepares for this upcoming December 19th showdown with Luis Ortiz (23-0, 20 KOs), promoter Gary Shaw feels confident his fighter will be victorious after sitting in on a 16-round sparring session. Make or Break

This is the definition of a make or break fight/crossroads matchup for both Jennings and Ortiz. This will be a great launching point for the winner heading into next year.

HBO is looking to invest in a heavyweight like they have in guys like Canelo, GGG, Kovalev, Crawford, Ward, etc......the Klitschko era is coming to an end (if not already) and I'm sure they are looking for the next big thing in the division.

For Jennings he upset Perez and "hung in there with Klitschko" if he wins a title opportunity will be coming for him next year I bet.

As for Ortiz he needs a name to his resume to get him more known to the public. He has a good amateur background. Obviously is extremely talented but his opponents have been soft thus far. He needs to prove he's worthy of a HBO Main Event fight also to put the Steroid stuff in the past. Also if he wins I'm sure Golden Boy will probably make him even more of a priority since he is the only guy they have under there banner at that weight.

I look forward to this fight. It will be interesting to see how the winner of this fight fits in to the current state of the Heavyweight Division.

Make or break? One guy has one defeat from the world champ the other has no defeats so how is this a make or break fight for either man?

16 round spar session? abit extreme is the fight a 25 rounder?

you put in the work in the gym so the fight is easy, see only people who really trained before and competed knows this. To casuals as yourself think it is extreme.
