and since it is COMPLETELY LEGAL IN NEVADA, fighters EVERY WEEK are legally using IVs in that state, as many ml as they want.

he didn't have ANY amount of saline solution illegally pumped into his system. it was completely legal.

you're making assumptions and drawing conclusions that may or may not be true and to declare that floyd used PEDs is irresponsible and something you're unable to back up.

both fighters underwent extensive testing and passed all of their tests. both fighters voluntarily underwent more extensive testing than was required by law and passed all of their tests.

based on my experience working behind the scenes in combat sports for 17 years (primarily in MMA and wrestling, but some boxing as well), 99% of elite athletes use PEDs and most drug testing is a sham. it's not a drug test, it's an intelligence test.

but what we have here is butthurt haters trying to paint floyd as a cheater when there is no evidence to support that other than him being a great athlete and most great athletes use PEDs, so if you want to throw that accusation around, you'll usually be right, but if you can't prove it, it doesn't mean anything.

    JRX -

i'm very secure with my level of intelligence, but if you're convinced that i'm an idiot, i'm willing to have each of us put up $10,000. we'll both take an IQ test and the higher score gets all of the money. interested?

you didn't address a single thing i said. everything i said was 100% true. you ignored all of my points in favor of a personal attack.

which means the idiot is probably you.
IVs before a fight are not legal in Nevada. If they were, why would Floyd need to get a medical waiver? WADA, the World Anti Doping Agency, that Floyd pretended was god for a while, lists IVs as PEDs. Floyd knew it.

Look, this is Floyd. They guy who openly has said, he does not care or respect the fan, the belts, boxing, his opponent and anything else. All he cares about is money and winning.

If there is anybody who would cheat in boxing, its Floyd. But we don't need to speculate, Floyd did use PEDs against Pac. He used IVs as a masking agent to hide his PED use. It's to be 100% expected. It's not surprising. This is Floyd. OF COURSE he uses PEDS.

The topic presented is a Segway into any topic, I get it, but there is an on going thread on this topic. Is this gonna be a new sticky for the IV controversy?

So do we fold the IV sticky into this? Or do we direct boxing fans to the sticky???

Floyd is a wizard of boxing. Plays ten moves ahead.

Read post. Saw who your favorite boxers are. Understood immediately why you wrote what you did. You shouldn't be that upset Floyd is better than your favorite fighters.

He dedicated himself to the sport, he happened to be on another level in regards to his contemporaries, and he is an all time great....His era wasn't the worst and wasn't the best from 130-154 but beat most of the elite guys near his weight class.....it wasn't easy to stay that consistent but when you're driven to be the best like he was/ is, its not a surprise he is undefeated....I followed his entire career and in each weight he competed in, I couldn't think of one fighter I'd favor to beat him from the late 90s til now....only other fighter like that in my lifetime was Roy Jones and Pernell whitaker...it was a pleasure being around to watch all of them fight live
