I wouldn't be surprised if Canelo doesn't make weight and if this is Cotto's last fight.

I believe it's his last fight and that is partially the reason behind ditching the belt to have more retirement money.

Epic interview...(love the broken english, no ****oooo ) (Cotto tryna speak the language, Canelo doesnt even try)

1.1 million fee is a no brainer, I rather save that money just to put my kids in college after a hard fight.....

Oscar contradicting himself, he said Canelo is not ready for 160 MAYBE IN A FEW YEARS AND CANELO NEEDS MARINATING while at the same time saying "ITS EVERY KIDS DREAM (His kid's (Canelo) dream is to fight for the MW championship) and calling it a disgrace....

WBC being a MEXICAN organization doesnt help their credibility... (very biased)

Cotto still a legend champion in 4 diff weight divisions!!!

      #WARCOTTOOOOOOO

Ha, you've and all Cotto fans have been saying no one takes Cottos belt.

He agreed to pay GGG that money.

Now De La Hoya has been all over the map with his Canelo comments, but Cotto got handed a chance to be MW champ.

He shouldn't of even got the shot in first place.

          Now he wants to cry.

He can be champ of his own house.

          Wow!

He was never a legit MW champ, everyone who knows **** about boxing knows this guy never fought at 160

the way i see it, golovkin fans should lay off cotto now. getting stripped means he's now a JMW. what the WBC should've done is just mail the belt straight to golovkin, why give canelo a chance to be crowned MW champ when he already stated he's not a middleweight?

Cotto is not a JMW, he's halfway retired. Canelo deserves the belt if he wins and he should fight GGG. That fight alone would be bigger than this. Canelo knows he can't keep fighting at JMW, so if he vacates and keeps fighting at middleweight it would hurt him. This kid enters the ring at 170+.

                  Go hide man.

You were proven to be a hater in this interview after you were jizzzing that he paid GGG and was a dumb ass for paying him.

GGG isn't watching anything for free and gets to pay a couple thousand to sit and watch a future HOF boxer.

I want to see all the dumb asses that thought Cotto would have paid 800k before the fight would take place just because.

Calling out the WBC is classic, shows how smart of a businessman Cotto is.
