The last week or so has been an all-out verbal battle between retired former champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Oscar De La Hoya.
A few days ago, Mayweather shredded De La Hoya for approving the placement of UFC champion Ronda Rousey for the cover of Ring ****zine. De La Hoya's promotional company, Golden Boy Promotions, owns the publication. Mayweather felt the ****zine's maneuver made the sport of "boxing look bad."
