Ward and Kovalev is signed, but even Kathy Duva doesn't think it will happen.

"We signed an agreement with Roc Nation and Andre Ward for Ward to fight Kovalev in 2016. "

"The only "if" here is if Ward actually gets in the ring. We can't stop him from getting injured or retiring."

Even she knows how full of schit andre is.

"But if he gets in the ring after June 2016, it will be against Sergey Kovalev. We would love to do the fight sooner, but Ward wants his tune-ups. In the meantime, Sergey will go on with his career against the best opposition who isn't afraid to fight him".

Ward has already bailed on the first step. He is not fighting kovalev, ever. His actions are crystal clear.

You're really banking on Ward not fighting Kovalev. So the question is, if he fights him next year, are you going to admit that you talked a bunch of **** for no reason? I mean you never admit it when you do that, I don't see how this will change. Hopefully you man up and bump your thread when Ward gets in the ring with Kovalev and you say "Well, I was wrong, like always."

Nowhere does she imply that she thinks it won't happen. All she's saying is Ward is contractually bound to fight Kovalev unless he gets injured or retires in response to some to some reporters making a bid deal out of Ward saying there's not rush in fighting Kovalev.

                They'll move on to:

                A shady referee.

                The location of fight.

                Drug testing.

                Glove size.

                Alleged headbutting and foul play.

                Ring size.

                etc....

Ward has no doubt been acting like a diva recently, but he is going to whoop that Russian's @ss.
