Ward to the rescue! LOL at certain fans hopping on the Ward bandwagon!!

Cotto and Canelo stans are both getting behind Ward to protect their guys from the big bad Golovkin who they do not want him to face (despite him operating in their division...) a certain poster with a squat frame who likes judo and has an insatiable appetite Cotto's ringpiece.. and the Canelo hardcore who are afraid of fighting the guy who rehydrates to the same weight as him...

Secondly we have the legion of Floyd hardcores.. looking for a "slick brotha" to fill the void that their beloved God has left since leaving the sport. Now they're all aboard the Ward train looking for Ward to take advantage of a smaller fighter

If king GGG gets the opportunity to face Cotto and Canelo and unify middleweight..then it will be fair to criticize him for not moving up to 168 to smash Ward.

At the end of the day when/if GGG moves up to 168 I'm in no doubt that he'll clean out that overhyped division including overhyped Ward...

GGG smashes Ward! there I said it and called it!

Ward took like what? 9 rounds to TKO an open target journeyman who was nearly obese!

how is this any different then pac fans literally running ship to ggg/kovalve???

the difference being that (most, not all) floyd fans were already fans of ward due to his technical style, just like most of us are fans of bhop as well.

GGG smashes Ward based on what? On all the boxer types that he's proven himself against?

Golovkin has literally fought zero fighters similar to Ward's style and making brash assumptions with little analysis makes you look like an idiot.

"But GGG punches hard and outboxed Lemieux doe!"

                Just let it go.

Cotto, Canelo, Ward, it does not matter, they all moved up(Ward moving up and will fight Kovalev) and took on tough challanges, and are still required by clowns to take even more challenges. These guys are highly regarded, highly respected.

Look man, Cotto was once at 140, he beat everyone he possibly could but the fact is that 140 was not offering much of a challenge to Cotto and it became hard to make anyway. He went up to 147, fought really good, top rated fighters at the time like Quintana, Mosley, Margarito, Pacquiao, Clottey. He then moved up to 154 and 160 where he fought Foreman who many people thought would be too big for Cotto, there's Trout which I scored a draw, Mayweather which was a good fight, and Martinez where he won by upset TKO. Now he is fighting Canelo, who also has racked up a pretty good resume very young in his career.

So please stop, all these guys are taking challenges. Stop with the "Ward needs 2 tune ups for Kovalev"...yeah, Ward will fight Kovalev, that is the difference. Cotto vs Canelo is the second best match up of 2015 after Mayweather vs Pacquiao, and it is happening at the perfect weight for both guys.

We don't know if Ward will fight Kovalev fo sho but if he does (without a catchweight) I'll give him credit.

But with Cotto and Canelo hiding in his division it doesn't make sense for GGG to move up (you know this but play dumb).

If GGG beats Cotto/Canelo and unifies i'll criticise him for not moving up.

Ward's been hiding out at 168 longer than GGG has at 160 btw.
