You either die or you are a shadow of yourself from now on. Neither are good options, but I think I'd prefer the former if given a chose for myself in this sorta situation. Is there any boxer who's been in this sorta position thats alright today that I'm not recalling?
Is this similar to what mogamedi went through?

Jermaine Taylor had a brain bleed after the Abraham KO, but he wasn't in a coma nor did he have to have surgery.

Pretty sure Colon won't have a boxing career after this. Pretty tragic, I just hope he pulls through OK.

This was a good scrap. Prichard looked really good early landing the more accurate shots. I felt Williams was able to hit behind the head often during clinches without ref's warning. So by the time a point was deducted the damage was probably accumulative. I hope this promising young fighter recovers.

I wish him good luck to fully recover then retire from the sport.

Oh, this is terrible. Reminds me of Magomed Abdusolamov when he fough Mike Perez a couple years ago, although Pritchard COlon didn't take near the beating, yet he did take several hard hits to the back of the head, and the other fighter should have been more heavily penalized or even disqualified. I was disgusted that the commentators including Steve Smoger, (who I typically revere) that he would basically suggest that you get one free pass for a cheap shot to either the groin of back of the head before taking a point. If it blatant or damaging enough, it needs to be dealt with more aggressively by the ref.

Sigh, well yeah in hidsight, feeling better about the fight not going the full distance. I will be praying for him thi, this is a sad day. =(
