Not that I like seeing guys quit but when you have a bad injury or are taking a tremendous ass beating and it looks like you can do nothing about it then I can understand it...
I hold some sympathy for the guys that have to quit because they were matched against guys they had no chance against I blame the boxing promotions for that nobody wants to see one sided beatings this is why we match against logical opponents.

One could very easily turn that around and say Matthysse was beat by a quitter as well, Zab Judah. And yes, I had Matthysse winning that fight but it's one that most agree could have gone either way before we even get into that.

No you couldn't turn around and compare a cheater with a quitter, are you not getting the significance of being beaten by a "quitter"?

Anyway, what I wanted to ask is why Judah is a cheater, did he get caught?

Edit: I'm guessing you meant quitter.

            He's got a point.

Berto isn't as good as Matthysse but he's never quit despite being in what would seem to be worse positions.

neither do i...but we have some soft ass phaggots that do.
You still don't get the point. Berto can criticize because he actually fights and hasn't quit when things got rough or dangerous for him. As a active boxer he can say whatever he puts out an honest effort regardless of his talent.

Unless you've fought that the professional level, you have no right to challenge a fighter's heart because you don't know what it's like to be in their shoes. A person that logs off or creates an alt when things don't go his way shouldn't be able to talk **** about a fighter's heart.

Bull****. Berto is a bum who would've quit in plenty of fights if he actually took any tough fights.

He's basically only targeted bums his whole career. Who did he step up to? Ortiz, a fighter that was considered mentally weak, and someone who doesn't throw jabs or have much technical skills. That was his BIG step up.

Then, Guerrero. First fight at 147, from a career featherweight/lightweight, another fight that seemed like a safe bet on paper.

Since then? Easy BS fights. Why? Because Berto is a BUM. His resume is horseshlt.

He is not allowed to mention Lucas' name. Lucas and many of his opponents would destroy Berto, despite being JWWs. Berto cannot compete in the division. He sucks. If he fights a top WW, he will get destroyed, everytime. This is a pathetic attempt to seem like he is on the same level. He aint.

Even if I don't agree with him, it's completely different when it's coming from a fighter. Berto has the right to say that because he actually fights for a living. I'm not sure I believe him, but that doesn't matter.

Sometimes when fighters realize they're not as good as they thought they were, they resort to cheating (PEDs) and bragging about their toughness, or putting others down to feel better about themselves.

I'm not arguing that Berto is a world beater. Just stating that he's been in tough situations and hasn't quit, the level of talent he's faced is irrelevant. Fact is Berto has more of right to criticize a fighter than just about anyone in this forum!!!
