The Scene: Ask Juan Manuel Marquez Your Questions and win

With so much debate on the forum as to his last fight, I contacted Ignacio "Nacho" Berstain and have set up an interview with Juan Manuel Marquez to take place early next week for "The Scene" audio show. Since my motivation for this were several threads regarding his last fight I felt that it would be best if I let you, the great fans, ask the questions and find out first hand what Marquez feels and what is his next move. Please post your questions here. JMM is currently in Cancun, Mexico, vacationing with his family but is expected back to Mexico this Wednesday. Make sure you speak your mind and get your questions on here. A winner will be picked for the questions selected and a prize will be given to that winner.

    Thank you for your support

    1) why, after its been so blatant, and detrimental to his career is he still with nacho? i will agree, nacho is a good trainer, its evident by his body of work - but he needs a PROFESSIONAL manager - not a guy who want to have an opinion in everything.

    2) comment then question. i d'loaded the john fight, and it was a robbery, hands down, w/ the 2 point deduction (which was awful officiation) you had a clear 3 round victory, just want you to know the fans, of non-thailand decent know who won. now, where do you go from here, to 130lb?? te deseo mucho bien en el futuro campeon!

I have a good question. Why did he puss out of a rematch against Pacquiao? Is it because he knows he was lucky to get a draw? I'd also like to let him know that I laugh at him at least once a day for losing to Chris John for like a tenth (or worse, I don't really know) of the money he would have made in a rematch with Pacquiao.

No need to be disrespectful. Lets keep the questions respectful. Words like "puss" are not needed in the question.

dude, he didn't chicken out he listened to a guy who was underqualified in making a correct assessment of his market share w/ pac. it was a bad decision, verrrry bad decision. he put it on pac, boxing lesson for the maj of the fight, and was trying to cash in, big time, and they failed miserably - you gotta live w/ your decisions - hopefully pac shows him mercy in the future and offers him 300,000 for a rematch.

You mean why did you not take the re-match against Pacquiao? I know that's what you meant to write.

Would you fight Pacquiao again after you saw what he did to Morales? If you would do you think you would have the confidence against him? You got robbed against Chris John, but Chris actually won some rounds in that fight, how well do you think you will manage against Pac man? Who will you be fighting next?

I agree with you, in my opinion the main reason why JMM had some success against pacquiao after the horrible first round was because all pacquiao really threw was that jab jab left 1-2 combination, and trying to go for the KO. Now Pacquiao has developed a nice counter right hand that has pop behind it (the same one that shook up Morales' knees in the tenth.) Pacquiao's attacks wont be as easy to read if they ever fought again...I would ask JMM if he believes it will be as easy to counter pac the second time around.
