Comments Thread For: Klitschko-Fury Set For Sky PPV, Brook Moves To Sky 1

Wladimir Klitschko’s rescheduled world heavyweight title defence against Tyson Fury (24-0, 18 early) will remain on Sky Sports Box Office here in the U.K., with Kell Brook’s IBF welterweight title defence against Diego Gabriel Chaves (23-2-1, 19 KOs) moved to Sky Sports 1 in order to accommodate the November PPV.

Klitschko (64-3, 53 KOs) faces Fury at Dusseldorf's Esprit Arena on November 28 after recovering from the calf injury that nixed the original October date, his WBA, WBO, IBF and IBO titles will be on the line. Brook's fight is on October 24, Fury's original date; Chris Eubank Junior will make his full Matchroom debut on the undercard after signing with the company earlier this month—he takes on Tony Jeter over 12.

Brook - Chavez shouldn't have been on PPV in the first place.

Once again, Wladimir Klitschko saves boxing.

so glad this fight got re scheduled so quickly. I know no one is giving fury a chance but i for one think he has at least a chance and more then just a punchers chance. His length and jab and movement cause he can fight many different styles may give wlad trouble at his age. Then again wlad might knock him out with the first thunderous right hand he throws. Imo tho its a heavyweight clash of 2 true heavyweights we dont get enough of fights like this. Both guys are dam giants and its going to be super interesting to see how the fight plays out and if fury can find way win rounds early. Plus who knows maybe fury reach and height can find a way to test wlad chin anything is possible. Obviously if i was going to bet the fight i take wlad its not even debatable just got weird feeling fury makes a great fight of this and makes it dirty its not like wlad will be able to do some things he does to shorter fighters.

All and all though just glad this fight got re scheduled its such a big international fight of 2 true heavyweights and i for one am excited about it. I just hope is fury wins or losses that a fury wilder match is in our future that fight and build up would be extremely fun

Exactly, that's why it's been moved to Sky 1, it was originally Brook vs Chavez & Klitschko vs Fury, which would have been a great ppv.

I doubt it was his decision. Sky probably told him no. Same as with him saying he's not sure if Joshua will be PPV, you know Hearn wants it to be it's just about Sky agreeing.
