Yes - PLEASE make this fight happen early 2016.

I can see there being issues with location.

If it goes to purse bid, Povetkin's people will win hands down. Haymon paid, but he ain't got Russian billionaire business money like Povetkin's people.

Then after winning the purse bid, they will want to fight in Russia, as they would have the right to do as the promoter who is footing the bills.

When Wilder refuses to go to Russia to fight, I expect to hear many: "But USA capital of boxing, doe"! "you gotta fight in USA to prove yourself, doe"!!!

see the problem with him being this inside fighter vs a 6'7 guy who just showed me he can throw short uppercuts and hooks on the inside is that he wont have the better leverage on the shot even though he is shorter..this means wilder wins the outside game and possibley goes 60/40(40 for wilder) in the inside while he is there for a short amount of time...

u really thing povetkin can cut legs like wilders off? i just dont see it..he's learning how to use the ring and sweeps hooks and turns when u think u have him cut off..he'sn ot floyd who will just stay on the ropes

He beat Wawrzyk who is a fairly tall fighter, 6'5 - 6'6 with a brutal KO

yea, but dont confuse that guy with someone who uses the ring and catches most power punches on his long arms as he uses that wavey willow tree style defense that has protected wlad's chin for years..

deontay gets hit with jabs bro the rest he sees coming now..i think the only power shot i saw him take was when he got his with an upper cut hook combo on the inside when he was just lean on duhap

We can agree to disagree, I see the fight lasting no more than 8 rounds.. being a brutal KO on either of them. It's a close fight, my heart says Wilder my brains says Povetkin

I think povetkins people said they wouldn't mind having it in USA.

I expect Wilder to pull a Quillen and vacate his championship belt in January 2016.

If it lands in Russia, than can't HBO buy the rights and broadcast since it won't be a Haymon/PBC produced show? That would be interesting.
