Everyone who thinks Berto is lying need to remember he was the original overpaid Haymon fighter. It wouldn't surprise me if Haymon did get him a huge fee. I mean, $4m itself is astonishing. I wonder how Chino Maidana feels hearing Berto getting that money compared to what he got.

They typically get $10 mil for international rights for the fight however got $40 mil for the Pac fight and I'm not sure what they received for the Canelo fight. So we'll say Sho at least got $90 mil for international rights. So lets just make it at least $800 mil Sho made on the Floyd deal. Even if Showtime gave Floyd 60% of the money which would be $480 mil they still walked away with at least $320 mil on the deal. I don't know what world people are living in but that's some real dough. These are very very conservative numbers even the most pessimistic person would conclude. I believe Showtime made more however I don't have enough solid data to go above those numbers.
32MM minimum per fight x 5 fights = 160MM, plus whatever PPV earnings he got for those fights. He said he made what, 200MM for the Pac fight alone? Add that to the other 5 fights and that's 360MM right there. Showtime didn't get all the money from the PPV buys for the Pac fight because they split it up with HBO.

Then when you think about all the showtime expense incurred with producing the All Access shows and other promotional activities.....I don't think they made as much money as they might lead on.

            good on berto!!

            he deserves his money...

he is actually a great lad who does a lot of charity. i was shocked when he backed out from fighting mosely to go back to haiti and help his country men and women. shows that he is a class act!

but i get that talking about how much he made makes no sense. enjoy your money fool and stop bragging.
