Having said that boxing gots to be one of the sports' that has the worst fans. A lot of boxing fans suck. They are negative all day long & seem to love being negative all day long. Something is wrong with every fight. Everyone is fighting bums or ducking. Nothing is ever good enough to some in this respectable size segment of boxing fans. Therefore them being negative about PBC is nothing unusual really cuz they hate 80% of the **** in boxing anyway.
I want someone to name another sport that would get an opportunity to be on networks or sports cable and most of the fan base throws a collective hissy fit. Most sports fans would kill for their favorite sports to be on Network TV and ESPN. Not boxing fans. To them it's the worst thing that could possibly happen.

"OMG the NFL is being put on ESPN!! It's going to destroy the sport!!!!!!!!!"

I think the Thurman fight and Garcia fights had more head to head competition. I think UFC one night. Right now is the dead time in sports once NFL, College Football and then NBA and Hockey come back will be more competition for PBC.
College football will be its direct competitor from now on as the season starts this week. September 12th (2nd week of football) is the biggest non-conference week of the season with two high profile games on by 8pm EST. September 26th is a big week as well.

PBC will have to get what they can now before these football games start up

It's not free. I had to get the more expensive cable package in order to have ESPN.

The difference is how the cable companies package things. HBO is an additional add-on if you want ABC or the Disney channel you HAVE to pay for ESPN. It's ABC and NBC forcing 10-20 channels in a package even if you want one. If you want to get technical about it fine, but by free it's included in every package you pay for. There is no "extra" charge like there would be for HBO.

I could care less what channel it is on, people hating on PBC are haters or racist, nothing else.

Corona paid to put their name on the ring and PBC has nobody to pay for advertisement so they just keep repeating their commercials for free. Take out Corona commercials and promos for ESPN what commercials did you really see? There is a reason they have many rounds where they don't even cut to commercials. And did I say ESPN cares if PBC doesn't get advertisers? ESPN already got paid but PBC cares. If they don't get advertisers they can't sustain these huge loses. They overpaid for production and promotion and are getting little TV ratings as result. And again if the ratings were so great then advertisers would be on board. HBO has no advertisers because it's a premium channel where you pay subscription and don't get any outside commercials. HBO doesn't have to worry about pleasing advertisers. PBC does.
You have all this information on who is paying for what... Do you work at ESPN or PBC? No, so all this is nothing but speculation and bull****, keep trying.
