WBC light heavyweight champion Adonis Stevenson (26-1) is a just a few weeks aways from his title defense against Tommy Karpency (25-4-1). The fight takes place in Toronto, Ontario and will headline a Spike TV PBC telecast.

The Montreal, Quebec based Stevenson said that he is taking his opponent very seriously and isn't underestimating him even though Karpency is a very big underdog.

Because we know Al Haymon would be willing to give his biggest rival in HBO a major fight like Stevenson/Kovalev.

And good luck with that Haiti fight. I feel sorry for whoever the opponent ends up being.

haymon's business model appears to be to make profit in increments over a sustained period without taking any risks

Stevenson's a pimp; we can't expect anything of him, and he's right on target.

"If Haymon tells me Kovalev, no problem... But on PBC". I don't believe in Adonis. Haymon would advice him to face neither Kovalev, Beterbiev, Pascal. Just some journeymen and taxi drivers.
