No that's factual. A win over crappy Maidana, a MASSIVE gift decision over Lucas and a pretty KO of Urango is a C class fighter. Devon Alexander, that guy is average at best. If that's Khan's best win Geale is easily a better name than that.

Irrelevant really when you consider that Golovkin's star power stock goes up every day, his skillset and style lend for exciting fights, and his biggest fights are yet to come. Golovkin is an exciting fighter who is being groomed as a superstar and has the tools and intangibles to be the p4p king if he doesn't have major setbacks and the right fights are made. Khan has peaked stock-wise barring a major win, and the fact that he has a glass chin, notable losses, and a big mouth make that type of signature win improbable. Even if he lands the biggests fights he will lose them, possibly by stoppage, the chances of that happening to Golovkin are minute.

And Khan has been a pro for longer and has gotten bigger fights sooner and faced better competition because of his hype coming into the sport and his exciting style, that's very different from the supposed "hype" Golovkin has, who has draw because of results, there wasn't a pre-hype to live up to for him, it's always been about proving his worth and going to work. Of course you can't compare resumes in that sense, look at a fighter like Lomachenko for example. He is the real deal, and had tremendous hype because of his amateur pedigree and thus has landed big fights early on, a fighter without that kind of expectation takes years, and 15-20 fights to land the same names. You can't ignore facts like that when you want to play the resume game. Not everyone reaches the same level at the same pace but that doesn't tell us who is the better fighter or who should be ranked higher p4p.

Khan and Golovkin fought in the same Olympics, then turned pro at the same time.

I like both guys, but this is really a bait thread. Khan undoubtebly has a great resume when you stack it against anyone.

GGG is in a division where he doesn't have competition, and he is having trouble getting anyone to fight him. It's not really his fault. He has to take what he can get to stay active. I think if Canelo wins, he will eventually fight him. He has already said he would. If Cotto wins, there is NO CHANCE Cotto goes anywhere near him or makes the negotiation so impossible it will never happen. No way Cotto fights him at 160, and GGG shouldn't concede to a catchweight.

Don't get me wrong I like Cotto but he wants no part of 160
