So GGG wanting to fight other middleweights at the full middleweight limit is the same thing as a guy fighting more than a weightclass above him wanting him to move up?

That isn't what I would call double standards, it's called comparing apples to oranges, two totally different situations.

You still haven't given me the names of other lineal, unified, 2x, 3yr+ reign paper champs with 0 defenses at regulation weight. No examples of such guys using the "too small, too old" excuse
Bullshht, Mayweather won his 5th off Hoya.

He also beat the best JMW in Canelo to become the lineal/best at 154.

Getting really tired of having to correct you so often, you dont know much about this sport do ya.

Mayweather beat the best guy at JMW, to become the universally recognised champ at 154.

Pacquiao did not even come close to matching that achievment.

Not only did Pacquiao not fight a champion, he did not even fight a JMW..... he fought a slow / plodding / come-forward / skillless / WELTERWEIGHT / bum, for a vacant title..... AND he did it at catchweight.... AND he did it using 8oz gloves.

      FOH

        YESTERDAY
golovtards: Canelo is a MW, coz he weighs 155..... 155 is middleweight

        TODAY
golovtards: NO, a cw of 155 is unacceptable..... 155 is not middleweight

This guy never learns. 155 is unacceptable for a 3 title unification + lineal. This has been explained to you a 100 times. How can someone be this ******? It's unbelievable

He beat Canelo at 152. Both times he won the belt it was over a blown up guy, one starting at 130, another 140, both past their prime. But when it came to fighting a genuine SWW, CW was in order.

Again, this is factual: he's held a SWW belt for 3+ years with 0 defenses at 154. When he's asked to meet a legit threat at 154, he's too small, too old. That's gotta be the sorriest paper champ in a long time, per paper "accomplishment"

I already told you how I feel about Pac's 8th belt. I'd like to see Floyd go for his 8th vs a Marg type. Hell he wouldnt even fight Marg at his 4th, had him stuttering.

Why are you still whining about the irrelevant ?

155 is acceptable for Cotto, who is an actual A-side, and who is the boss.

              Why are you crying ?

Hypekin gets to fight {insert bum here}, and you get to cheer happily.

Mayweather beat a real champion, he actually beat three of them.

                Hoya / Cotto/ Canelo.

                This is absolutely disgusting.

Sooooo many things wrong with that fight its not funny.

Unacceptable to who you? Because the wbc doesn't have a problem with it. And I'm sure their opinion matters more than yours

Wouldn't surprise me if GGG agrees to a CW rather than getting ****d on the split the way Canelo did. Assuming Cotto gets past Canelo, which I don't.

He wont get the fight otherwise.

When Pacquiao demanded 145 for Cotto, that catchweight was a show-stopper..... Pacquiao flatly refused to fight Cotto at 147.

I told everyone that manny-weight was a nasty precedent.

Cotto still holds bitter resentment over the way that he was manipulated.

Cotto will definitely walk away before rolling over for Golovkin.

                      Beleeeee dat !

Normally I would say that sucks, but GGG is obviously using the same weight manipulation techniques, and he is the B-side..... so fcuk him !

156, or go kick rocks !
