Comments Thread For: Brook-Chaves Looms, as Bizier-Lawson in IBF Eliminator

A fight between IBF welterweight champion Kell Brook and challenger Diego Chaves draws closer as the Argentina dropped off from a final eliminator to go into a direct fight with Brook, according to promoter Yvon Michel of GYM. The fight would take place on October 24th in Sheffield and likely paired with Wladimir Klitschko vs. Tyson Fury as a split-site Sky Pay-Per-View event.

Brook doesn't need Haymon to establish himself as a coward. UK fighters are among the most cowardly in all of boxing.

So is this real? I don't know how many conflicting reports I've read about Brook recently and his "next" opponent

The BradleyChavez draw was a bullshhh decision. Bob rigged that decision just so he wouldnt haveto pay Bradley those big purses, which got higher from fight to fight as long as he won.

Is anybody surprised wrre not getn BrookBradley?

The coward came over to the US and schooled one of Haymon's boys for the title

This coming from a yank is not really worth a comment but go and hide in your KFC box before we send any other lads to come for your titles !

Weak fight to be honest considering they promised a huge super fight after the two title defenses against Jo Jo and Frankie Gavin. Had some hope it was going to be Bradley but it seems like Brook and Hearn are going to Milk this title at home as much as they can...it's a shame really, he's pushing 30 years of age and he's making absolute peanuts when he's an undefeated world champion and should be earning a million plus a fight...
