Damn!!!!! When I had my rotator cuff surgery, I went through four months of rehab and didn't lift anything weighing more than 10 pounds for six months. It was all for nothing. I could have just bathed regularly in salt water and been completely healed in three months.

The answer why God does not do irrefutable miracles is simple. He values our free choice, and even more values our free choice to believe in Him. If He did an irrefutable miracle, it would be effectively FORCING people to believe. There were irrefutable miracles in the past, but look, when men were forced to believe by witnessing an irrefutable act of God, their hearts quickly turned against Him in short order. From the golden calf to Judas, it's a constant.
Presently, in this time of trials, it is all about choice. Even something that most definitely is a miracle can also be explained away by a hard heart/cynical mind, hence free choice is preserved. Without free choice, there is no faith. God delights in our faith.
I do hope you understand. And I hope the convention of non believers that have convalesced upon this thread will give it some thought, at the very least.

No amount of salt water can heal him if he didn't have surgery. Since he did, what he only needs is time for it to heal.

"For thousands of years, people have used salt and water to heal the body. Egyptians recorded its effectiveness on wounds. Hippocrates, The Father of Medicine made use of remedies containing salt after noticing the the****utic qualities of seawater on the injured hands of fishermen. Roman doctors dispensed drinks and ointments made with salt and during the Renaissance period doctors recommended salt baths for skin diseases and itching.
It would appear that salt water rinses are good because they alkalinize the mouth (opposite of acidify, which is what the bacteria create) and the alkalinity helps decrease the bacteria count because they like an acid environment. Additionally, salt water is astringent and speeds wound healing through reducing inflammation and contracting the tissues."
Source.
Why do Floyd fans sensationalize everything... swimming is a very effective the****utic activity... and salt water is known to heal. There are beautiful areas to swim/beaches in the Philippines so that might have added to the calm/relaxing therapy.
I had a laceration once to the back of my head, doctors used staples instead of stitches... I wasn't suppose to remove the bandage... But I was given advice, was told to swim in the Pacific because of the saltwater (was on vacation)... and my wound did in fact heal faster than normal

I will say that PAC attributing everything to God/faith is overly excessive at times.
Just keep in mind though, in his part of the world, there are many people who are really superstitious. They also have a reliance on alternative medicine and believe they work. It's safe to assume, PAC rarely saw a doctor growing up (or never at all). Any cuts/bruises and any sickness was treated with other remedies.
