    Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas - Abel Sanchez, trainer of WBA/IBO middleweight champion Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin (33-0, 30KOs), believes Erislandy Lara (21-2-2, 12KOs) has done absolutely nothing to deserve a shot at his boxer.

    In the last few months, Lara - who holds the WBA/IBO titles at junior middleweight - has demanded a fight with Golovkin.

    Lara is not alone. Former WBC 154-pound champion Sergio Mora was also calling for a shot at Golovkin.

      He got knocked around silly by a straight caveman with NO skills. He's criminally overrated and one of the most overrated boxers in the past 15 years.


      If Angulo can do that to him, imagine what Golovkin would do? it wouldn't even be competitive.

        Where are the follow up questions? Like what has Monroe done to earn a title shot?

        At the very least Lara has a name. Not a big name but he has headlined PPV cards before, fans know about him. Plus he'd be coming up in weight.

                    He basically said Lara's fighting style and how he performed with Rodriguez made him unappealing.
