when it comes to "big" fights on regular tv, the main stumbling block is the fact that the event length is unpredictible, therefore ad revenue is technically not guaranteed. Its hard to bank on selling a commercial between the 8th and 9th rounds if you dont know that spot will be there.

The advantage Floyd has in this area is that the chances are probably 95% that the fight goes the distance, therefore the ad revenue would be on relatively solid ground. And I dont say that as an insult to Floyd, but as an advertising reality. If the event is counting on the ad revenue, an early knockout would cost the promotion ALOT of ad money.......

The truth is the truth. He's a coward and that's a fact!
Calling someone a coward is your opinion...lol, not a fact. Blaming the fight souly on Mayweather when his dance partner admits he came in with a shoulder injury, his coach came with one game plan. Got out punched by a fighter that you claim to be running is a fact...that's my opinion.

Other than floyd likely winning, what problems could posters have with this?
It is Floyd and Haymon; they will always have a problem with it no matter what. You know those klan members on here posing as boxing fans? Yes, them same one.

They aint doing it with a good opponent. If he fights on CBS it will be a **** opponent. The last names being thrown around were pretty ****. Id rather him fight brook for the last belt, but seems he isnt planning on that since he dropped the WBO belt.

This would really be a barometer for just how popular the sport could be. I hope and pray this happens and Floyd faces someone he can have an exciting bout against.

The fight being on free tv will give Floyd a chance to roll out a great line about how he helped grow the sport and it wasn't just about the money all along.

You might be joking but you are right.

Floyd fighting on CBS and Manny returning on regular HBO are the LEAST they could do after May 2nd.

He's maturing in his old age bless him.

But it will give him the upper hand in the public eye and another 'moral' victory over Manny.

If it is PPV, He will fight a fighter worthy of fighting him on PPV, Like Rob Salsa

If he fights on CBS, Then he will fight Berto.

But if he fights on CBS, It means he has 1 fight left with Showtime still. CBS Don't count, even if it is associated with showtime.
