when it comes to "big" fights on regular tv, the main stumbling block is the fact that the event length is unpredictible, therefore ad revenue is technically not guaranteed. Its hard to bank on selling a commercial between the 8th and 9th rounds if you dont know that spot will be there.
The advantage Floyd has in this area is that the chances are probably 95% that the fight goes the distance, therefore the ad revenue would be on relatively solid ground. And I dont say that as an insult to Floyd, but as an advertising reality. If the event is counting on the ad revenue, an early knockout would cost the promotion ALOT of ad money.......
