It would be cool if Floyd went up to Thurman after his most likely win and asks if he wants to fight... unlikely but still better than nothing (considering Floyd is sure as hell not manning up and fighting GGG or Lara)... Thurman is the number three choice...

Floyd, having every advantage available over his opponents, chooses to give his opponent as little time as possible to train... because why? Because it suits HIS bottom dollar...

Realistically, it's Khan/Thurman/Brooke... No way Floyd fights Berto(who's that again?)... There's no drama around that fight... Maidana was a junk fight but at least it had the drama of Maidana beating Broner... Junk fights need some previous drama...

Floyd has found another way to keep people talking about him. Delaying the announcement of his fight. Was he like this in his previous fights? Delaying and delaying?

Also he probably started training maybe a few weeks back whilst giving his potential opponent as little time as possible. He knows whoever he choses is not gna say no. Imagine if they did say no. That'd throw a spanner in the works

This has to be one of the dumbest recurring theories I've seen on this site. Whoever Floyd is fighting isn't going to find that out when the rest of the world finds out. Whoever he is fighting has some idea that a Mayweather fight is in the works before it gets announced. Anyone with common sense would at least start light training in the event that Mayweather decides to fight them.

I'm expecting Kell Brook for some reason.

Mostly because a few weeks ago, Hearn was doing a lot of talking about Brook fighting Rios or other names and giving out rough dates of when Kell will be fighting. Since then everything has become incredibly quiet about Kell Brook, the Rios fight seems dead in the water and Brook was due to be fighting around the same time as Floyd, maybe even the same date so surely we would be hear rumblings of an announcement from his team too regarding his next fight

The fact everything has gone quiet makes me think there's a chance there has been negotiations going on and Hearn has been told to stay quiet, because Floyd is the guy that makes the announcements.

Of course, i'm probably completely wrong. If Floyd does want to go out on a good fight and name, i think it might be Brook.
