Comments Thread For: Tim Bradley Rejects Vargas' Claim of Admitting Defeat

WBO interim-welterweight champion Timothy Bradley has rejected the claim being made by Jessie Vargas, who says Bradley admitted defeat after their contest on Saturday night at the StubHub Center in Carson, California.

There was controversy at the end of fight, when referee Pat Russell heard the ten second signal during the twelfth round and thought it was the final bell. At that point he stopped the fight eight seconds early - but at the moment Russell had stopped the fight, Bradley was in trouble after being clipped by a right hand to the chin and Vargas was trying to knock him out.

OF course Vargas is the type to over react.. didn't you see him jumping on the ropes after the fight was over?

Vargas grasping at straws now. "He was hitting me with jabs but they weren't doing anything". Meanwhile his corner is moping up the blood leaking from his nose in between rounds.

Vargas was smart to keep his 140 belt , now let do Crawford vs Vargas next so Crawford can have two belts, and let's end all this Bradley/Vargas stuff

Ironically, Vargas did much better against Bradley than Bradley did against Pacquiao...

Vargas actually rocked Bradley's life..wouldn't be shocked if Bradley is never he same...
