GGG was the one saying he was the best from 154-168. Well he needs to back those types of claims up. Period.

Ward supporters like myself want to see Ward take on/out GGG and Kovalev.

Ward is "good money". He's eerily similar to Floyd Mayweather in that way.
GGG always comes across very humble when did he say that he was the best from 154-168??? Please send the link to the article or the video.

I know you wont, coz it was never said pathetic

I doubt Kovalev is very happy with her right now.
Kovalev is Mr.HBO right now, I saw the interview, he understands the situation.

He doesn't give a damn about Stevenson, he said he's willing to do 50-50, go to Canada put his 3 belts on the line to Stevenson's 1. He doesn't see why he should have to bend any further for him.

      And he's right.

Old Stevenson is going to have to fight a mandatory soon and he'll probably lose.

Adonis also holds the Ring "lineal" belt.

Golovkin really wants the Adonis fight in Canada, but on HBO...

Kovalev/Ward is an amazing fight. I'd hope to see Golovkin first, but I sure won't complain about Ward moving up for that fight.

Golovkin is too small to beat any of them and Stevenson is a house of cards with 1 good punch waiting to be exposed. Infact Adonis is 5'11" or so. Maybe he and Golovkin should tango.

Kovalev vs Ward is the fight we need.

For all the positives things Kov has done in his career, his actions that prevent this fight should be met with the same scorn as Adonis' actions that did the same thing.

kovalevs fan base is virtually non-existent whilst Adonis sells out the bell centre every fight

Andre Ward is ducking Kovalev. Stevenson already ducked him. Kovalev is the most feared boxer in professional boxing today.

Andre Ward is NEVER going to fight Kovalev. There's no point (from his perspective. which sucks for fans) he's going to get KO'd brutally and his career will be over. We're talking about a guy with NO POWER and a glass chin who's fought nothing but brawlers his whole career. Literally.

As soon as Kovalev touches him its light out. KOvalev and GGG are the only two guys who beat Ward between 160-175, though. But Ward will never step up to the plate. He's content getting millions to fight Paul Smith and Edwin Rodriguez FFS

Stevenson..... well, lets not even mention him. Dude turned down a career pay day and the fight of his life/unification, in order to fight a Polish pizza maker, the living corpse of 168lb Sakio Bika and some Russian video game developer. Lame.

Krusher has all these dudes shook.

Stevenson's last fight was in Quebec City and he did not even sell half the place out.

HBO was likely going to put $2m behind the fight (the bout isn't big enough, in HBO's eyes, to committ to putting the fight on PPV); for the NBC primetime broadcast, PBC has put $2.5m-$5m behind the payouts for the cards. You go back and look at the Showtime/CBS money that's been put behind Stevenson and I wouldn't be shocked if the actual number ended up being $3m-$4m into the pot, with or without PPV.

Why would Team Stevenson ever give HBO, an outfit that refused to do business with them, a near 50% discount on the biggest fight to be made at the weight?
