Will Canelo offer GGG a fight at 155 if he beats Cotto?

It depends when they fight. Canelo is not even full grown yet. I remember I grew immensely from ages 26-28. If GGG waits a couple years he gets the fight at 160.

He has the upper hand in every physical category, it wouldn't bother me if Canelo asked for a catchweight right now.

Not if they fight 2-3 years down the line it should be at the full 160 weight limit.

    Imo.

They asked GGG this week before he threw out the first pitch at a baseball game if he would fight at a catchweight against Canelo and he said "no, no catchweight". Golovkin has never fought at a catchweight and did not request one when in discussions for the Chavez fight. There is no reason for him to accept a catchweight to defend his own title. Canelo will not be calling all the shots in a GGG fight, sorry to say for the Canelo fans.

Not to mention that there is not a chance at all of this fight happening before late 2016, early 2017.

Canelo is not fighting GGG any time soon. ODLH won't risk his cash cow this soon.

If he does, it's a major bitch move.

Wow... Canelo gets credit for fighting GGG at 155 now? I can only imagine if someone made the same thread about Cotto. The hate would be unreal, but in this piece of **** thread some guy said he'd only be mad about a rehydration clause lmao. You Canelo fans are something else.

I think the better question is will he make this fight if Floyd ends up fighting cotto should he beat Gaele.

I hope so but I doubt it. GBP and HBO have invested too much in Canelo to put him in with an opponent that would be favored to defeat him at this point in their deal.

Cotto ain't fighting Canelo, he's fighting Floyd.

Don't you have to actually beat the guy first before you get credit?

We all know Cotto is going to play the drain game too like he's doing it to Gaele. I say FUCK BOTH if they do.

And there will be NO catchweight.
You are delusional. If Canelo says eat mud before fighting me, GGG must do. Rules of boxing, A side etc.

That sald, I dont like CWS. But GGG superfans always say he is a tiny small MW....so what is then?

To be honest we are in a weird situation: Canelo should move up but doesnt want GGG, GGG should move up but doesnt want Ward, Ward should move up but doesnt want Kovalev...

Out of all of those, the only one I trust to go all in on the challenge, is Canelo who at least has a plan.

Ward and GGG are in no rush to move despite clear benefits.

HBO is invested in both GGG and Canelo. They'd want that match up sooner than later.
