As previously reported, WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao, and his promoter Top Rank, are not taking part in the traditional "Grand Arrivals" which usually take place during fight week for major events at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Top Rank and Pacquiao's team have been at odds with the MGM since Pacquiao's April 2014 rematch with Timothy Bradley. Top Rank's CEO, Bob Arum, was furious with the venue because of their abundance of advertising for Floyd Mayweather's fight with Marcos Maidana, which took place a few weeks later.

Yeah bruh. I was watching Pacquiao on Jimmy Kimmel last night and Manny was cracking so hard under the pressure that we couldn't understand the English lyrics of the gentle fight ballad he was singing with Jimmy Kimmel

You also have to factor in that Pacquiao has been carrying for years, an entire country on his shoulders, growing up in a war zone, living a lifestyle that requires security detail to be armed with machine guns, political assassinations.... when you factor all of that normal every day luxury Pacquiao has to deal with, Leonard Ellerbe is probably the most credible source of information on Manny Pacquiao's lack of ability to deal with the pressure of a boxing match in Las Vegas.

And why the heck does Manny have to concern himself with pre-fight obligations? This fight sells itself. Any kind of media interaction would be straight up attention whoring to the ultimate degree

He serves as a beacon of inspiration to Floyd's fans. He serves to remind us all that if we are willing to take the abuse behind closed doors, mop the floor of Floyd's sweat despite being a "CEO"....that maybe one day, we too can rub Floyd's chest in between rounds

no pressure at all for many pacquiao, the pressure is on mayweather side and camp. for manny this is a normal fight because mayweather is easy to beat.
this is the first time of mayweather's career that he fight a south paw with a tremendous speed and power. as what boxing legend say's George Foreman
"This could devastate him (mayweather) as a boxer, not as a man but a boxer. He might have to go out in the country somewhere if he lost."
