Comments Thread For: Fonfara: It Doesn't Matter How Win In, Decision or KO

While fans and media are divided on who will come out on top in Saturday’s showdown between Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. and Andrzej Fonfara, the consensus opinion is that the bout will likely end in a controversial decision.

Chavez Jr. returns for the first time in more than 13 months as he faces Fonfara, a legitimate Top 10 light heavyweight who gave World champion Adonis Stevenson a scare less than a year ago. A catchweight of 172 lbs. is in place for Saturday’s contest, which airs live on Showtime from StubHub Center in Carson, California. [Click Here To Read More]

Jr. is gonna get murdered tonight. Even his own pops thought he was crazy for fighting someone with a pulse after not fighting for a year

Actually it does matter, because if this fight goes to the scorecards. You would have to believe that Chavez already has a minimum of four rounds already in the bank.

After taking 2 tune up fights in his last 2, I think Chavez Jr. Owes the fans a tough challenge especially considering he ducked ggg and a career high payday

This fight is a good gauge of how good fonfara is. I don't think Chavez will be able to hurt guys his own size. Interesting scrap.

If this guy can't be more active and pull the trigger more than he did against Doo Doo, Jr will have a field day with him. I like Fonfara, but geez... throw some blasted punches man!

Fonfara will probably need a KO.

I don't think he gets it.
