In what many are hailing as a potential Fight of the Year candidate, former 140 lb. titlists Lucas Matthysse and Ruslan Provodnikov square off Saturday evening at Turning Stone Resort & Casino in Verona, New York.
Both fighters are ripped and ready, making weight for their highly anticipated war. Matthysse tipped the scales at 139 lbs., while Provodnikov was a shade heavier than his fellow slugger at 139.5 lbs.
