Arlington, TX - Tomorrow night at the University of Texas at Arlington, former lightweight champion Terence Crawford (25-0) will face Thomas Dulorme (22-1) for the vacant WBO super lightweight title. The belt became vacant after Chris Algieri was stripped of the belt for moving up to welterweight to challenger the WBO champion at 147-pounds Manny Pacquiao last November in Macau.
Crawford weighed in at a shredded 139.8 pounds while a ripped Dulorme came in at 139.2 pounds. There was a tense staredown and some jawing between the two fighters.
The bout will open up a HBO split site doubleheader with Lucas Matthysse facing Ruslan Provodnikov in Verona, NY in the other televised bout.
