God damn, look at the ***n ****brain responses on here. Shít is so far off-base, it made me lol.
Look, she's not a femi**** or anything, she just doesn't want to feel objectified. And I want her to enjoy this sport as much as I do. Unlike most wives and girlfriends, she actually cares about boxing and doesn't just watch it for my benefit. She even scores fights when I ask her to so I can have a second opinion. This weekend, I had Garcia-Peterson a draw, she had it 115-113 Garcia. So we watched the fight again and counted punches round by round. It's nice having a wife that will do things like that.

I would've hoped that you guys could stop being so stereotypical and try to be empathetic.

I guess it serves me right for taking a fellow boxing fan's feelings into consideration.

but truth is women are very mistreated in our society, there are still a lot of men who think less of them in general. women are extremely objectified, many men still value women 98% based on their looks and the pay gap is just horribly wrong.

i personally find it repulsive when those people fortunate enough to seldom have to deal with discrimination (be it ***ism, racism or ****phobia) complain about how they have to listen to others complain these things. as if having to listen to other people speak of the injustices they face is worse than actually facing them.

i hate people who cry wolf just as much though, as they give these morons a free excuse whenever people are legitimately discriminated against. something which is far from infrequent anyways, it's not like you have to look far for injustice in this world.
There is no pay gap. This has been disprove countless times by economist all over the world.

Why does the thread title look like a news headline from some blog. OP are you conducting research?

Is it time to finally put an end to the use of ring girls in fighting sports?
          No.

As long as there are surgically enhanced broads with daddy issues, there will be a place for them.

Be a man, and tell your wife to cook a sammich next time she doth protest.

          I'm just sayin.....

But how can she feel objectified if she's at home watching on TV?

I think a lot of times when women object to this stuff they claim some principled stance but quite often underneath they see these pretty ladies with great figures and it makes them feel insecure about themselves.

Of course women have equal rights.

They can leave whenever they ****ing want to.
