    Frddie Roach - The boxer...How good was he?

    How good was Freddie Roach?


    I know he was a pretty tough guy back in the day but he never reached the highest level....At his best would you say Freddie was a B or C level guy?

      he was just ok !!!!! like fil jackson ok player phenomalal coach / trainer !!!!!!!!!! jordan and majic johnson wased great players but awful coaches !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

          Never seen him box and I would bet alot of money neither has 95% of this forum. These questions about yesteryears boxers always crack me up. I would bet my bottom dollar these 20 somethings that post here don't know the answers to these questions. Maybe a small group of posters 35+ do. Me being 30 years old, I've followed boxing since the early 90's so how can I tell you about Freddie Roach? Am I supposed to watch your video and now have the answers?

                Saw one of his fights on an espn2 card. He got beat soundly. Never followed him before or after. didn't know much of him so I have no opinion on the guy as a boxer

                  I watched many of Roach's fights live on tv. Always an entertaining guy but based on the way he fought no one should be surprised that he has parkinsons.
