Comments Thread For: DeGale-Dirrell Title Fight Secured For May 23 In Boston

One of the fights I'm personally most looking forward to this year between two of my favourite fighters and two of the most talented fighters yet to win a world title.

Here's interviews with James DeGale and promoter Eddie Hearn.

    Chunky to make history!

Andre dirrel is one of your favourite fighters?

Is that before or after he faked an injury vs Abraham then used that as an excuse to duck ward

Mentally he is a bit of a puussy, yes. Doesn't change the fact that he is ridiculously skilled.

Love this fight, I'm glad it's official.

A fully back to form Andre Dirrell would be a great thing for 168.

I'm guessing so. Haymon won the purse bid.

It's apparently a co-main event. So another big-ish fight will be on the card.
