I think Pauly is going to get knocked out bad. He doesn't have anything that can hurt Cotto...and he's dealing with a guy who cuts off the ring better than anyone in boxing.
Nobody has ever, and nobody will run from Cotto. He's in my best estimation....the best stalker in boxing.
As long as he keeps his hands up, throws in combos, and moves he has the style to beat Cotto.
Remember where u heard it first.
Even if he does all that, Cotto is to strong and Paulie is too weak. Paulie has never even fought amy1 good or even decent at all. He aint ready for Cotto. And he'll prolly break his hand, jus cause he didnt break his hand in his last figh dusnt mean its better, and if he breaks his hand hes deffly ***ed. Cotto has good boxing skills too when he wants to box, watch some of his early fight, especially the Maussa fight. Cotto is gonna smash Paulie, period.

If Pauly sticks to his game plan he can win, but I must admit he will have to fight a near flawless fight, but he does have the style to beat Cotto, plus Cotto has never fought a guy like the Magic Man.

Ok....here's the thing. Malignaggi has a shot and I'll tell you how I think he maybe could do it.
Not by boxing.
He needs to go in there, mano y mano, and fight fire with fire like Torres did. He could at least give himself a shot....and he needs to take a couple to land. This is a matter of Malignaggi really stepping it up in the ring, and proving that he can actually fight someone toe to toe.
His counterpunching will not work I don't think. He simply needs to prove people wrong about being "featherfisted" and take the fight to Cotto.
Otherwise I don't see it lasting more than 4 or 5 rounds.
And I think Chop Chop is a better boxer than Malignaggi. Skill wise that is....but he didin't survive.

IMO this is the exact WRONG strategy for a guy like Pauly to use against Miguel. Hes gonna have to counterpunch and move, like he normally does.
Its hard to compare as to who has more skill Corley or Pauly, but Chop Chop got away from his gameplan when he fought Cotto, and lets face it the ref stopped the fight WAY to early.
Pauly is gonna be WAY focused for this fight, u can just see how hungry he is in the way he talks.

Well I'd have to disagree about the stoppage.
Corley was down 5 times, by taking a knee and IMO was looking for a way out of the fight...and the ref gave it to him. His negative body language IE shaking the head etc....was a sign of defeat.
Sure Malignaggi is game...and sure he has some tools. But he's slighted in build compared to Cotto as was Branco....and Cotto just virtually toyed with Branco.
He smiled at his punches, and walked him down. Branco essentially said "**** it" and layed on the ropes trying to land a big counter right hand when Cotto was reaching.
I foresee Pauly just succombing to the onslaught coming at him.
