WBA 'regular' welterweight champion Keith "One Time" Thurman received a clean bill of health after getting eveluated at a local hospital in Las Vegas on Saturday night, according to the boxer's trainer Dan Birmingham.
In the headline fight of the NBC televised debut edition of Premier Boxing Champions, Thurman went to war for twelve rounds with Robert “The Ghost?Guerrero at the MGM Grand, and walked away with a wide twelve round unanimous decision victory.
During the third round, a clash of heads caused a severe hematoma to develop on the left side of his forehead. Thurman's camp also feared that he suffered a fracture around his left eye.
