Odyssey Arena, Belfast, Northern Ireland - Before a massive home crowd, IBF super bantamweight champion Carl Frampton (20-0, 14KOs) stopped mandatory challenger Chris Avalos (25-3, 19KOs) in the fifth round.

Frampton started slow in the first but picked up the pace in every round.
