It's not a forgone conclusion the Povetkin beats Perez.

Perez is tough, he's durable, he's a proud Cuban/Irish fighter, He's on his own mission to be a champion.

If the winner of that fight,(Povetkin V Perez) fights Wilder.

Whoever comes out victorious from that trio should be the man that fights Vlad for all the belts and the division will be unified with one ultimate champion

Perez is a fat out of shape eejit who will do alright for a few rounds, then start blowing out of his arse & throwing about 5 punches a round.

      Povetkin easy UD.

Wilder is getting to much credit for beating Stiverne

Stiverne gets beat by majority of top 10 heavyweights

Wilder's team will never risk the belt to Povetkin.

They have the entire country's interests NOT to fight Povetkin.

Should Povetkin vs Wilder become mandatory.. Uh oh!

Bye bye Wilder! Nice knowing ya!

In future, any belt relinquished by a retiring fighter should be contested by the TOP boxers, not dished out to lesser ones to fight over and then tie it up. Big mistake but alas, I am SURE it was done on purpose to generate the money/interest that this East/West rivalry has done.

Smart move America. If you can't WIN a belt legitimately, engineer in financially so you can BUY a belt
Do you ever post anything remotely intelligent?

But I tipped Stiverne to win myself but also gave some pretty clear grievences about Stiverne also. Especially workrate, which panned out beyond belief.

With Povetkin however, none of these things are true.

I can't see many avenues in this fight (unlike the Stiverne one) where Deontay can really win.

          Can you? Can anyone?

          If so, what are they?
Grievances??? Do you know how to spell? If you are going to utilize bigger words in your vocabulary at least click over to spell check and make sure you spell them correctly. To answer your question YES.....One avenue is with power early. If he lands on Povetkin's chin he could shatter it Wilder has power that is not a dispute....IS IT? Another is to fight behind his jab. He has a huge reach advantage over Povetkin. If he uses that to his advantage and moves around the ring well he could easily outbox Povetkin. Povetkin does have the pedigree in his favor and has been matched with way better competition as you have stated.

Honestly from the rankings set right now I see 50-50 in most match ups from #5 to #20. Right after Wlad there is a great drop off in either talent or pedigree.
