Waiting until Golovkin fights some one good is like waiting until you turn 18 years old to get a job. It just feels like it's so far away. And this guy is looking down to 154lb guys now, after eliminating the garbage that is at 160. His fans actually think defeating Cotto or Canelo will prove his doubters wrong too, that's the thing. Go up to 168 already, damn, every time a new Golovkin opponent is announced, I yawn. Geale? I yawned, he lost to Barker. Rosado, Ishida?, Adama?, Stevens, Rubio, Macklin off a TKO loss and 1 KO win over a journeyman, borrrrrrring. Then there is the most boring and false statement of them all, "Nobody wants to fight him". Yeah, "Nobody" meaning Mayweather, Canelo, Cotto, Pacquiao.

Who is at 168 that could possibly give GGG a test right now, other than Ward?
Abraham?
Froch?
Chavez Jr?
Sturm?
Steiglitz?
Either Dirrell?
Gtfoh. Even if he did move up and creamed the top 10 there, it wouldn't be enough. "The competition weak doe" The excuses would be the same.
The guy fights pretty much anyone willing to step up to the plate at 160, 3-4 times a year, comes to knock people's head off their shoulders, and that's still not enough to earn you fans. Haters gonna hate.

He doesn't impress me despite being head and shoulders above all the other middleweights which in truth are rubbish.
I won't stamp greatness on him yet until he faces true elites in his division and blows them away like has has the subpar. I also don't think him beating a blown up welterweight in Cotto would be anything to judge his greatness on if that fight comes to fruition.
I really like the guys style and power, but I'm dying to see him fight some real competition for once. Murray isn't bad as far as size goes, but he doesn't have much to probably keep GGG off him.
