After being part of a private meeting last Tuesday in Miami, the confidence of Manny Pacquiao's adviser Michael Koncz has exploded. He feels very good about the ongoing negotiations to finalize a Floyd Mayweather Jr. mega-fight for May 2nd at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Koncz, along with Pacquiao, met with Mayweather for over an hour at the Filipino boxer's hotel suite. They discussed various issues that were preventing the fight from being finalized. Most of those issues were related to internal conflicts between the networks. Mayweather is under an exclusive contract to Showtime and Pacquiao has a deal with rival network HBO.

so while there are parties planning the pac-may fight, mayweather himself could not care less because he prefers to jet around the world and not spend a time thinking about the bout... from the horse's mouth, mayweather does not want anything to do with it.. it would help if we stop hoping that the fight would happen because mayweather does not want to think about it.. as they say, hope is a hopeless word. and we should know by now who is the coward..

I lost about 95% of the hope that I had for the fight after it wasn't announced last night at the Superbowl. So go ahead with your pointless updates. You could tell me that Floyd choked to death on a piña collada while on vacation, Manny went into a coma from being hit by a stray basketball,Bob arum died of a heart attack while counting his money,and al haymon was stabbed in the liver by a pissed off ******,and it wouldn't faze me one bit at this point.

Fight ain't happening, Pacquiao will either fight Vargas or Crawford at 140 lbs and Floyd will fight Cotto for the middleweight title. If that scenario happens then forget about the fight this year because Floyd won't fight at 160 in May and go down to 147 in September. If this fight were to happen it will be next year after Pacquiao's exclusive contract with Arum runs out. What a ****** move Pacquiao's team did in 2012 by signing this goddamn contract with Arum knowing that he's one of the primary reasons the fight with Mayweather didn't and still not happening, they should've signed a fight by fight contract like Cotto and Marquey do, this way they could fight both Top rank and Golden boy fighters, Michael CON is the reason, he probably got paid by Arum.
Arum bribed the judges at the first Bradley fight to give Bradley the decision to make sure Pacquiao's popularity is lower after that loss so that he doesn't get the courage to start his own promotional company like all fighters with his star power did, he always did that once a fighter was about to leave his company, He threw Cotto in there with Margarito probably knowing that Margarito used loaded gloves, he did it with Dela Hoya vs Felix Trinidad, and the list goes on and on, this guy is a disease for boxing and he needs to leave, JUST DIE ALREADY!!!
